Currently, the contents of several pages is driven by the resource strings only. This makes it difficult to create default pages with rich content (formatting, dekiscript, images, etc.) and requires access to resources.custom.txt to customize the contents.
Instead, Deki should check for the presence of certain templates and inject them automatically when needed, running all edit-substitution content (enabling default dynamic content).
List of default page content templates:
- new page in main namespace
- new user homepage
- new talk page
- page created by a child page
- deleted page that still has children
- Tag page
- What links here

I love the idea of a drop-down menu concept on "New Page", but an ability to filter which templates sub pages can select from should also be added at the parent page. In many cases there would be just too many to pick from, and users won't know which is which. If it could default if there was only one or none available or one could be set as the default, that would be extra super sweet!!
