Remotely appending content without using the Deki Wiki interface. This would be huge for general note-taking, brain dumps, recording the details of a voice message, or even collecting research for a project or idea.

Target for appended content

This could be a configurable list, or it could rely on the watched pages list. Even easier, it could get dumped to a page called "Notes" under the user's home page.

Potential implementations

Here are two possible implementations.

Bookmarklet

See Stikkit's bookmarklet, described here.

Desktop Application

I would love to see a desktop-type tool (maybe .NET?) that would allow a bit of text (or the clipboard contents) to be appended to a chosen page in the wiki (and automatically time-stamped, and maybe a "ahathaway" added) without requiring any direct interaction with Deki's interface.

The upcoming Desktop Connector always for dragging & dropping text onto pages, which will automatically append that text to the page.
