This tutorial details installation of Varnish on Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron) and most Debian systems. The following is a description of Varnish taken from the Varnish Project website.

Installation of Varnish on Ubuntu 8.04 is a straightforward installation using apt-get.
