If you want to Delete a page as well as the files attached to it, click More -> Delete:

Once you select Delete the following dialog will appear:

You have the option to delete just the current page, or to delete the current page as well as all children pages. If you don't select this, the contents of the page will be deleted along with the attachments, but the page will still remain as a placeholder. All Deleted pages and files can be reviewed in the Control Panel. Pages can never be completely removed from the system, but when they are deleted, only the Admin will be able to restore the content.
