    RSS Feeds

RSS Feeds give you multiple feed options for ways to receive notifications of changes within MindTouch. To get to RSS Feeds click Tools and click RSS feeds:

    =rss.jpg?revision=1

This will then direct you to the following page which has numerous outputs of RSS feeds:

    =media_1239661158587.jpg?revision=1
    1. What's new feed - This gives you the overall RSS feed for the entire MindTouch install. This is filtered according to your permissions
    2. My Watchlist - This gives you an RSS feed of pages that are in your watchlist. See Watched Pages for more information on managing your watchlist
    3. Contributions - This breaks down contributions on a user basis so that you can see specifically what a user is adding to the system
    4. My Watchlist - This show the Watchlist for the user it is next to, beneficial for getting insight into pages that are important to that user

    RSS Readers

There are many RSS readers available for consuming the feeds available in MindTouch. Here are a couple of readers:
    Google Reader
    Outlook
    Thunderbird
    Newsgator

    Private RSS Feeds

MindTouch supports the ability to access RSS feeds from Private MindTouch sites.
In order to do so you would need to format the RSS feed as follows. The following configuration assumes that your RSS reader manages authentication credentials for the feed.

    For Watchlists:
    http://yourmindtouchsite/@api/deki/users/=Corey/favorites/feed

You would supplement the Corey with the username of the watchlist
    you want.

For Recent Changes for the whole MindTouch Site you would do the following:
    http://yourmindtouchsite/@api/deki/site/feed

For Contributions of a User do the following:
    http://yourmindtouchsite/@api/deki/users/=Corey/feed

To add these feeds to your reader, make sure that you configure the settings for
the feed so that you are authenticating with your user account

If your reader doesn't support a configuration for authentication then you'll need to
prefix the feed with a login like so:

    User Changes:
    http://username:password@yourmindtouchsite/@api/deki/users/=Corey/feed

    Recent Changes:
    http://username:password@yourmindtouchsite/@api/deki/site/feed

    For Watchlists:
    http://username:password@yourmindtouchsite/@api/deki/users/=Corey/favorites/feed

    Page Feed:
    https://username:password@yourmindtouchsite/@api/deki/pages/{pageid}/feed

Replacing the username, password, and yourmindtouchsite with your login and the url/ip for your MindTouch install
