Front-end Testing

Program to run macros and handle results

• Get a list of all the testing macros in a specified folder
• Initialize new iMacros browser
• Run macro, (which one is specified by the list obtained in step 1)
• Return results from iMacros
  • Separate tests methods needed to deal with different kinds of results necessary?
  • If OK is returned, write macro/test name to results file along with time and date
  • If error code is returned:
    • Take screenshot, name it with save in specified folder
    • Write error code and macro/test name to results file along with time and date
• Remove changes made if they will interfere with later macros
• Close iMacros browser
• Advance through macros in list obtained in step 1
• Take screenshots and results file, and post them to a wiki page on corp with the date as the name of the page
• Once per week, get screenshots of results of ALL macros, and make them available somewhere to be able to view to confirm that they actually are achieving desired results
