Bulleted List testing

This is a test of list support. Here is a list of the things I took to school when I was a kid:

1. This if the first sentence.
2. This is the second.

Now, I want a non numbered line. I wanted to attach an image but I need to attach it to the page first, I think. Regression?

1. Now I want to resume the numbering. But this editor doesn't let me specify the start number.
2. No spellcheck?
