Introduction
The image gallery was removed for the Noatak release. This plugin will bridge the functionality gap to provide a way for users to preview their images.
Intended Audience
Users who desire the missing gallery functionality.

Functional Specification
Use Cases
User wants to see images in one area
- Files with content previews will be displayed using the thumbnail size in the gallery section
User wants to browse images
- Images will be browsable via a click which will open a thickbox viewer
User wants to embed images into the content
- By clicking and dragging, a user can embed a clickable thumbnail within the content
- When the embedded image is click, a large preview is displayed via thickbox
Non-goals
Implementation will not provide all the functionality found in the old image gallery.

I would keep it as simple as possible. Create a grid of all images with the filename (title the link with the last modified information); don't do the revisioning component, since that'll also show up in the files table. Sort by the same method as files are sorted (i believe by name) edited 12:30, 10 Nov 2009
