The SQL Connector allows you to pull any information from a SQL database into MindTouch to create tables, charts, and graphs that get updated in real-time. Quickly get a visual representation of your data for any statistical information, such as financial or sales status reports.

For example, if we look at this interactive bar graph which shows sales by product category, we can hover over each category to get dollar amount details. By clicking on it, we are taken to a pie chart which further breaks down the data into sub-categories. Clicking on a section of the pie chart will bring you to this table of product details. If a any changes are made to the SQL database, such as a product being sold, the data is updated instantly, which you can see by simply refreshing the browser. This allows you to monitor your sales progress with up-to-the-second accuracy.

The SQL Connector is also great for reporting without having to rely on the outdated hand-delivery method. You can now intra-period information (such as real time budgeting comparisons) without having to rely on someone else. In addition, you can use the SQL Connector to create powerful dashboards that display data from disparate sources on one page to provide a much clearer snapshot of your status of your company.

Best of all, with the SQL Connector, you don't have to create logins to your SQL server for end users. This gives you complete control and keeps security firmly within IT.
