    neilw on Collapsible Table of Contents

    @missy.gracyk I just updated the template to make this easier. Just target div.collapsibleTOC with some CSS and it should work.
    @tim That sounds like a problem with unsafecontent privileges. This should only affect the template itself; if an an admin is the last one to edit the template, then any contributor should be able to *use* the template. See this KB item: http://developer.mindtouch.com/en/kb/Using_templates_which_require_UNSAFECONTENT_permission, and come back if you can't get it straightened out.

    @varosi Sure, it's possible. I'm not sure exactly when I'll get around to it, but I'll see what I can do. The results would have to be presented differently, since percentages don't make sense when multiple answers are possible. How would you like the results to look?

    @beezoboy Whooooops. Thanks for pointing that out. If I had read your original note more carefully I would have seen it then. I fixed the links.

    @NEILW Sure. I meant the links to the actual files are dead links up top (cfrwiki.raritan.com) and "collapse_icons.gif" wasn't attached to this page. So someone trying to use the template wouldn't have been able to get the 1 of the two files with the information provided on this page. That's all. I was just trying to make it more convenient since I already had the file. Now both image files can be downloaded directly from this page to attach to a user's template.

    @beezoboy Using the newest version, the gif files need to be attached to the *template page*. They're still here as well to avoid breaking the template for people using older versions.

    Two corrections, based on my experience just now with a fresh Debian VM appliance (10.0.8): 1) init file is at /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini 2) (clarification) Need to restart Apache2 afterwards. Obvious, but when I first read "restart the Mindtouch website in apache or IIS" I restarted the wiki, which of course had no effect. I still don't understand why the VM appliance ships with a 2 MB PHP attachment limit. This should be a bigger number, so you can then exert control via the control panel.
    @dstanny If you want a fully expandable wiki tree, go try out AjaxWikiTree (http://developer.mindtouch.com/App_Catalog/AJAX_collapsible_wiki_tree).
    @irockadidas Please head over to the forum thread: http://forums.developer.mindtouch.com/showthread.php?6106-ANNOUNCE-HideElements()-a-template-to-hide-page-elements-on-a-per-page-basis&p=46203
    @neilw thanks for the super quick response. when I use the byuser argument set it then shows up visible for logged in users as well. Im nnot trying to hide it on all pages, just on the home page and each of the top pages for each of our categories. Anonymous users do not have write permission because we are using it as a KB and only want certain people to contribute.

    Fixed you gravatar. It's been bugging me.... If that wasn't it's purpose, oh well.

    What was wrong with my gravatar? I don't pay much attention to it, but hadn't realized anything was wrong...
    Posted 06:32, 10 Jul 2009
    @neilw it was showing MY gravatar to ME and anyone else's gravatar to them. :P

    Whoops. No wonder I thought it was working fine! :-)

    @neilw - Hey it's petee, just testing out the activitystream service. It was disabled when we did the content re-org and SteveB just re-enabled it yesterday I believe.

    thanks,

    @petee
    I received notification for this, but I also have email notifications turned on for this page, so I would have received it anyway...

    @neilw - Hi, it's Alex (aleggett) - I really like the star rater, but can't get it to work - am I missing something?

    I copied the template code from your starRater page and pasted it into a page as dekiScript but while it displays, it generates a page error when you click one of the stars in IE7 ver 7.0.5730.13:

    Line: 210
    Char: 88
    Error: Expected ';'
    Code: 0
    URL: [mySiteURI]/index.php?title=[myPagePath]

    Firefox ver 3.6.3 doesn't report any errors, but it doesn't increment the vote count either.

    I would have commented the page with the starRater on it directly but for some reason when I go to the Wiki section of the portal it doesn't think I'm logged in (this looks like a bug - where do I report it?!)

    @aleggett
    Not sure what's going on but I won't be able to look into it for a week or so. Will notify you if/when I figure something out.

    Hi Neil, would you please add the source code back to this page: http://developer.mindtouch.com/App_Catalog/List_Newest_Pages_or_Changes?highlight=list+recently+changed+pages
