Date.IsBefore

    date.IsBefore(first : str, second : str) : bool

    Evaluates two dates and returns true if the first date is before the second date.

    Usage Restrictions

    1.9.1 or later.

    Parameters

    Name Type Description
    first
    		 str The first date.
    second
    		 str
    		 The second date.

    Result

    True if the first date is before the second date.

    Samples


    		 Output

    To determine whether today is before 01/01/2000: 

    {{ date.IsBefore(date.now, "01/01/2000") }}

    false

     

    To compare a date with itself: 

    {{ date.IsBefore("01/01/2000", "01/01/2000") }}

    false
