Engineering Roadmap

While the MindTouch team is driven at the core by our product releases, we have other engineering goals to achieve during each release cycle. During the Lyons release schedule, we have the following work items scheduled for completion:

• Atlassian Confluence Converter- A command-line tool, similar to our MediaWiki converter, is being developed to allow AC wikis to be imported into Deki. (November 2008)
• Twiki Converter - After the Confluence converter (December 2008)
• Developer Center - Our documentation is atrocious. We need to keep the documentation updated (specifically for DekiScript), while also reorganizing/branding the developer center specifically for developers (instead of trying to appeal to everybody).
• DekiScript packaging - Repackage and figure out a delivery mechanism to allow users to create DekiScript blogs and DekiScript forums (October 2008)
• Office Connectors - Desktop, Outlook, and Word connectors all in a single install! (November 2008)
• Mobile skin - Optimized Deki experience for the iPhone interface (November 2008)
• Deki CRM
• Packaging Process - Improve our internal packaging/release process
