    Page Notifications

    Starting with the Lyons release, your users will have access to Page Notifications. Page Notifications allow you to receive emails when changes occur to the page(s) that you subscribe to. The Page Notifications is available in the upper right hand corner of your MindTouch install as seen below:

    To subscribe to the page/pages click the Page Notifications and you will be presented with the following options:

    =media_1238619317384.jpg

    By default the page notifications are OFF. You can then specify whether you want to receive notifications for This page only or for This page and all subpages by clicking the radio button next to the option. Note that when you select an option to receive notifications that the broadcast icon will turn from gray to red. If you subscribe to This page and all subpages then you will also receive notifications when new pages are added to that subtree along with any changes that occur to the pages in that subtree.

    To disable the notifications, return to the page that where you subscribed to the notifications and select Turn OFF notifications for this page

    By default, notifications are sent out every 10 minutes as a digest with all of the changes that occured during that 10 minutes, that you are subscribed to.  If you want to change the time to a lesser or greater value edit the mindtouch.deki.startup.xml file and edit the following line:

    <page-subscription>
        <accumulation-time>600</accumulation-time>
    </page-subscription>

    Changing the 600, which is 10 minutes in seconds, to the value that you want in the form of seconds.

    This feature is great, but would be even better if it was a toggle. I would like to subscribe to "This page and all subpages" on the main page, for example, and then unsubscribe from certain subpages (and their subtree).
