CKEditor

This document reviews the default CKEditor layout. If you should see additional buttons, these are present with advanced configurations.

Save - saves the current page
Cancel - cancels the current edit and reverts to the currently published version of the page
View - choose your view mode (Source / WYSIWYG) (Show Blocks / Hide Blocks)
Undo - undo your most recent change
Redo - redo your most undo
Replace - allows you to replace the current selection with other content. Clicking this will bring up a dialogue box with various options.
Cut - removes the current selection and copies it to the clipboard
Copy - copies the current selection to the clipboard
Paste - pastes the clipboard
Paste as PlainText - pastes the selection as plaintext without formatting rules
Paste from Word - pastes the current selection from Microsoft Word using proprietary formatting
Transformations - Allows you to apply syntax highlighting to a formatted block
Maximize - maximizes the editor and editable body on the screen to allow for better content focus

Font - selects desired font
Size - selects font size
Text Color - selects the text color
Background Color - selects the background color
Remove Formatting - removes formatting within text
Bold - boldens the current selection
Italicize - italicizes the current selection
Underline - underlines the current selection
Strikethrough - strikes through the current selection
Subscript - formats the current selection as subscript
Superscript - formats the current selection as superscript
Code - formats a block of text as Code notation
Insert/Remove Numbered List - inserts or removes a numbered list
Insert/Remove Bulleted List - inserts or removes a bulleted list
Definition List - Organized list
Decrease Indent - decreases indentation of current line/selection
Increase Indent - increases indentation of current line/selection
Left Justify - justifies the current selection to the left alignment
Center Justify - justifies the current selection to the center alignment
Right Justify - justifies the current selection to the right alignment
Block Justify - justifies the current select in block format

Normal - paragraph formatting for the text
H1 - formats current selection as Header 1
H2 - formats current selection as Header 2
H3 - formats current selection as Header 3
Hx - selects formatting for current selection as Header 4 / Header 5
Styles - selects style formatting (Formatted / Block / Normal / Plaintext)
Insert - inserts other elements (Flash / Extension / DekiScript / JavaScript / CSS / Comments)
Link - creates link for current selection from another page or manual link creation
Remove Link - removes link from current selection
Table - inserts table
Image - inserts image from MindTouch storage or uploads from local workstation
Template - inserts template
Video - inserts video
