    MindTouch search breakdown

    When a user performs a search, our search engine will try and match the search query against the following sections:

    Main Hierarchy
    Main Hierarchy Talk Pages
    User Pages
    User Talk Pages
    Template Pages
    Template Talk Pages
    Project Pages - From MediaWiki Migrations
    Project Talk Pages - From MediaWiki Migrations
    Help Pages - From MediaWiki Migrations
    Help Talk Pages - From MediaWiki Migrations

    These are broken down in the mindtouch.deki.startup.xml file, specifically in the indexer section.  The default values are shown below:

    <namespace name="main_talk" value="1"/>
    <namespace name="user" value="2"/>
    <namespace name="user_talk" value="0.5"/>
    <namespace name="project" value="5"/>
    <namespace name="project_talk" value="1"/>
    <namespace name="template" value="0.5"/>
    <namespace name="template_talk" value="0.5"/>
    <namespace name="help" value="1"/>
    <namespace name="help_talk" value="0.5"/>
    </namespace-boost>

    You can change the value for any of these sections to put more emphasis for the search term in those sections which will cause the results from those sections to be have higher relavence within the search results.
