Overview
When installing MindTouch using the Easy Windows installer you may encounter the error Port 8081 is in use
Symptoms
During installation you will receive an error that says "Port 8081 is in use"
Resolution
MindTouch relies on Port 8081 to run the API. This port is most likely in use by another application on your computer. It is recommended that you install using the VMware Player install as it will ensure MindTouch doesn't conflict with other applications running on your computer.
You can install MindTouch using VMware Player by following the Installation Guide.
