Alternate Expandable Hierarchy 2 of 2 found this helpful: An alternate to our standard hierarchy animation shown below is available. This new hierarchy is expandable giving it a more Explorer-like feel. Our standard hierarchy animation: The alternate expandable animation Configuration To switch to the new expandable hierarchy, perform the following steps: 1.) Navigate to Control Panel-->Configuration-->Advanced Config: 2.) Add a new config key/value pair using the following parameters: Config key: ui/nav-type Config value: expandable 3.) Click "Add Key". 4.) Navigate to Control Panel-->Cache Management. 5.) Click "Clear UI Cache". You'll now see the new hierarchy when navigating back to your installation. If this still does not show up, try clearing your browser's cache as well.

Goal After completing this tutorial you will be able to upload large files onto your MindTouch installation php.ini location In order to increase the maximum file size we need to make changes to the php.ini file. This is located here: Windows C:\Program Files\MindTouch\MindTouch Deki\redist\php Linux On linux it is in one of the following locations: /etc/php.ini /etc/apache2/php/php.ini Change php.ini Edit the php.ini file and change the following values to match what you want your max upload to be: ; Maximum size of POST data that PHP will accept. post_max_size = 100M ; Maximum allowed size for uploaded files. upload_max_filesize = 100M Change Mindtouch Setting Once you have changed the above values in php.ini, login to the Control Panel of MindTouch and go to System Settings -> Configuration -> Advanced Config and make sure that the following config value matches your values above or is higher (Note: the numeric value for max-file-size is in bytes, so you'll need to convert the MB above into bytes conversion is 1MB =1,048,576 Bytes) files/max-file-size268435456 Then restart the MindTouch website in apache or IIS What's Next The recommended max upload size is 256MB. If you want to go higher than this, then there are additional customizations and optimization that are need to be made on the server side. Related
