By default, the MindTouch deployment is open in order to encourage collaboration within an organization. However, many organizations want to make their MindTouch install private to ensure that all viewers are required to login before gaining access any information within the site. Follow the steps below to make your MindTouch install private. We also offer a breif video tutorial on how this feature works.
Login to MindTouch and go to the Control Panel -> Users. Select the Anonymous user and click Change roles:
Note: The Anonymous user is strictly for the use of dictating a non-authenticated user's access to your MindTouch install.
This will bring you to the next screen, where you will select None from the Dropdown. Click Change roles.
When you click on Change roles, you will receive the following confirmation screen:
Now when you navigate to your MindTouch install, you will be required to login in order to access any of the information.
