The reason why when you log back in and can't access it is most likely because it is in DHCP mode where is automatically grabs an IP, which can change at the drop of a hat with a busy network. Here is how you can figure out the IP to access it without assigning a static IP to it:
login to the root directory of MindTouch:
username: root
pass: password
when you type out the password it will not show characters, this is a security feature
Once logged in type ifconfig
This will show you the network settings
under eth0 settings look for inet address: something like 192.168.1.XXX
This is the IP of your MindTouch install
When you want to use this more steadily I would recommend putting it on a server and assigning a static IP to it. Here are the instructions for assigning a static IP
