#6: @neilw That is exactly why I have decided to start from scratch. There is alot of code out there but most goes well above and beyond what this would be trying to accomplish. I also think much of it is overly complicated to its own peril.

#5: @rberinger I've tripped over a bunch of other, mostly dysfunctional, spreadsheet code. It would be nice if at minimum we could get some working cell parser code, seems such a waste to re-implement that. On the other hand, it might be easier to get a *simple* parser working from scratch than to figure some of this public code...

#4: @neilw I have looked at this more than once. There is ALOT of functionality, and ALOT of things that would have to be accounted for. Lots of dependencies. I have gotten to work (Sorta) in the wiki, but not to desired level.

@steveb this will happen, working out the details and hinting to my favorite partner @neilw for input. Of course any help would be appreciated. Often times its the kick off that drives the direction.
